From Separation to Integration

Land-change processes are often mapped as isolated processes (e.g., agricultural intensification). However, multiple process-ses often co-occur (e.g., intensification & abandonment). Ignoring feedbacks and interlinkages between multiple processes likely misses opportunities for systemic & integrative solutions. I am developing new ways of identifying and analyzing multiple land-change processes in an integrative way.
