Eduardo Lacerda

Postdoctoral Scientist

I am a Geographer with an interest in understanding the dynamics of land use and land cover through a focus on techniques such as remote sensing, time series analysis, and spatial optimization. My current research focus lies in the field of spatial optimization, particularly in the prioritization of conservation and restoration areas spanning from regional to global scales. I also have experience in the development of techniques for implementing image harmonization for time series datasets, in deforestation monitoring and high resolution mapping projects, in the administration of large spatial databases and in software development.
