My name is Hugo Cabral. I am a biologist with a PhD in Animal Biology. Currently, I hold the position of Postdoctoral Scientist at Universidade Estadual Paulista in Brazil, also I am working as a guest scientist in the Conservation Biogeography Lab. My primary interests lie in systematics, taxonomy, distribution, and the conservation of reptile’s, primarily focusing on the reptiles of the South American Gran Chaco region. My goal is to comprehend the impacts of land use changes on the reptile populations of the Gran Chaco. Additionally, I am interest on understanding the evolutionary processes that have given rise to the South American Biota. My research encompasses all snake species within the South American Gran Chaco.
