I am a biologist working in conservation sciences. My work is based on the spatial distribution of anthropogenic pressures and how these threats affect species of large carnivores by using ground data, GIS, and remote sensing tools. Together with other conservation scientists, I collaborate with non-governmental organisations and stakeholders to translate my research into spatial prioritisation tools for conserving these species and their habitats. Currently, I’m focusing on understanding the drivers of the spatial distribution of illegal hunting and the connectivity lost for the jaguar in the Chaco and the Upper Paraná Atlantic Forest Ecoregions.
