Melina Faingerch

Visiting Scientist

I am a PhD student in agrarian and environmental sciences from Argentina. I study land use changes in the agricultural frontier of the Dry Chaco from the perspective of land use agents. I am mainly interested in understanding and characterizing social agents and their decision-making processes. This will allow me to develop an agent-based model to explore potential interventions and policies that would be most effective for sustainable development and the conservation of native forests.
