Ph.D. student

I am a geographer by training with a strong interest in understanding how global change affects biodiversity. Specifically, my experience has focused on generating species distribution models and identifying priority areas of conservation. In my PhD, I focus on how reptiles and amphibians are affected by land-use change in South America’s tropical dry forests and will identify where priority areas of conservation are located for these taxa. I intend to contribute to the understanding of the behavior and distribution of wildlife and highlight potential conservation opportunities.
