Lab 03 (I) - solutions

Exercise I:

Prepare a document (e.g., .docx), in which you describe in a few sentences the behavior of the model, and how the populations of prey and predator vary. Assess the model’s sensitivity to changes in \(X_0\), \(Y_0\) as well \(a\), \(b\), \(c\), and \(d\) by visually examining the changes in the visualization. Describe in a few sentences: What could be equilibrium points in the model?
Prepare a panel graph (e.g., 8 graphs representing 8 different parameter combinations) in which you visualize the simulation outcomes when varying the parameters. Provide the panel graph inside your docx- document. If you find an equilibrium point in the model, you can provide the simulation output as one graph of your panel. Some examples for how to vary \(X_0\) and \(Y_0\) are provided below.

\(X_0\) 100 1000 520 520 500 300
\(Y_0\) 1000 100 180 220 200 800

Possible answer:
